Tumbarumba Wineries and Vineyards

The Tumbarumba region is planted in the foothills of the Australian Alps. The vines are grown in fertile soils at elevations ranging between 500 and 800 metres. The alpine climate makes Tumbarumba ideal for the production of premium sparkling wine and top end table wine .

Harvest time is later in this region due to the cool climate, beginning in late March and continuing through to mid April. A variety of premium wines are grown here Cabernet Shiraz, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.

In February the region has a food and wine festival called Tumbafest.
